Job Description

Grant Administrator & Development Assistant
Salary Range: $60-80k

What You Will Accomplish

The Napa Institute Foundation Grant Administrator and Napa Institute Development Assistant will serve the Napa Institute Foundation 60% of the time and the Napa Institute 40% of the time.

Napa Institute Foundation (60%)

Daily support for TRB
For Napa Institute Foundation matters.

Family Office
Manage quarterly office meetings with Saraa Hazim
Take notes in meetings
Be available for family's questions and needs
Support for Steph Busch - when needed
Support for Garrett and Betsy Busch - when needed
Support for Kenzie Vath - when needed
Assist Jenna Muise with Special Events for Napa Institute, Personal, PHG
Manage TRB email

Foundation and Grant Relations
Manage Donation requests
Meetings/ communication with development representatives from apostolates
Write donation letters
Work with Saraa to manage checks and letters for donations
Schedule NIF board meetings
Record minutes for board meetings
Compile information and documents for board packets
Track tax receipts for Greg

Napa Institute (40%)

Assist Rich Loesing, Director of Mission Advancement, on managing all fundraising and event sponsorships, to including:
Communication, tracking, and coordination with donors, sponsors, and friends of Napa Institute on Development matters
Database management and updating for donors and Napa Institute community
Developing and maintaining systems for donor identification, cultivation, and engagement
Other duties as assigned
Attend Napa Institute conferences and other functions as a Napa Institute representative and event assistant as needed
Be the friendly helpful face of Napa to assist guests with their needs up to and during an event.
Occasional as-needed assistance with broader Napa Institute team relating to other high-priority projects
