Camp Counselor Position

Make a Difference This Summer at Camp Sharing Meadows!

Are you compassionate, energetic, and eager to make a meaningful impact? Join us as a Camp Counselor and help create unforgettable experiences for our campers while growing closer to Christ through service and love.

Responsibilities:
As a Camp Counselor, your primary role is to be a compassionate companion and role model for our campers, leading them closer to Christ through your actions and care. You'll be assigned several campers to support throughout the week, tailoring your assistance to their individual needs.

Duties include:

Assisting campers with personal hygiene, meals, and participation in activities.
Supervising and engaging in fun camp activities like campfires, hayrides, dancing, swimming, boating, fishing, talent shows, games, group discussions, and crafts.
Helping campers rehearse for an end-of-week play, complete with costumes, sets, and choreography.
Sleeping in community dormitories alongside campers to ensure their safety and comfort.
Enjoying daily free time and weekends off (Friday afternoon-Sunday morning).
Training & Requirements:
No previous experience is required, but past camp experience is helpful.
Must be 18+ years old and demonstrate patience, tolerance, and a caring nature when working with other-abled adults (18+ years old).
First Aid and CPR certification is required (training available if needed).
Orientation and additional training provided.
