Job Description
Montessori Teacher for ages two and a half - five years of ageQualifications:
- A practicing Catholic in good standing
- Early childhood certification with experience or Montessori
certification
- Familiar with Montessori activities and instructional methods
(songs, stories, media, games, art, outdoor activities)
- Ability to create and implement plans and teach personal,
social, and emotional skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to a wide variety of
children
- Work cooperatively and effectively with administration and staff
- Establish and maintain regular communication with parents and
guardians
- Maintain professionalism in appearance, manners, and actions
- Handle confidential situations and sensitive information discreetly
- Maintain Archdiocesan Virtus and all mandated programs
- Fulfill responsibilities as assigned in the spirit of the mission of
Saint Aloysius Academy
