TOBET is seeking applicants for the position of a Full-Time Employee as a Speaker, Content Creation Assistant, and Editor.

Role and Responsibilities
TOBET is seeking a full-time employee who is eager about the Theology of the Body (TOB) and wants to evangelize through public speaking, working in content development, and editing. First and foremost, we seek a person who is passionate about Jesus Christ and TOBET's Mission, and who is willing to be formed in TOBET's approach.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

TOBET Speaker
• Engage and captivate audiences with TOBET's approach to TOB
• Be adept at modifying talks, based on age-level of audience
• Be willing to travel to give talks to various audience types
• Give credibility to TOBET in speaking to diocesan audiences of educators

Assistant to Content Department
• Be receptive to TOBET's content team in our unique approach to TOB and apply it to the content we are developing
• Be sensitive to the developmental needs of various age levels, especially using Catechesis of the Good Shepherd as a guide
• Assist as needed in writing original content for TOBET's monthly blogs
• Work with President, Monica Ashour, as well as with Director of Content Creation, Gabriel Milano
• Editing content of the team's internal or external projects
• Working as a team to make decisions regarding content
• Discussing layout of original books
Assistant to Marketing Department
• As a speaker, you may be asked to help promote talks and book them
• All TOBET speakers bring TOBET books to show audiences, especially parents and other educators

Qualifications include:
• Deep personal commitment to the Jesus Christ and the Catholic Faith
• A degree in either theology or philosophy from a Catholic college or university
• Excellent skills in verbal and written communications and attention to detail
• Adept at reading an audience and accommodating to such needs on the spot
• Good at time management and self-starter
• Creativity in building content
• Close proximity to our office in Irving, Texas is preferred
• Having had teaching experience at a Catholic school or catechetical program is a bonus
• Willingness to work at the computer for the bulk of the day for content/editing
• Having affability so as to fit in with the fun, yet professional culture at TOBET
• Preferably, experience in ministry, teaching, or speaking
• Adept at grammar and style
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Reader

Salary
• $35,000-$45,000 gross per year commensurate to experience

We do this especially through The Body Matters program for Pre-school through 8th grade at Catholic schools, faith formation, and homeschool; Theology of the Body Marriage Preparation program; and talks and retreats.
