Job Description
Camden Catholic High School, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, invites inspiring, deeply faithful Catholic school leaders to apply for the position of President. Founded in 1887, Camden Catholic is a co-educational college preparatory school with an enrollment of approximately 600 students and a president-principal leadership model. The President is appointed by the Bishop of Camden and accountable to the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Trustees for supporting and implementing the mission of the school and ensuring its sustainability. The President deftly balances the immediate priorities of the school for delivering on its mission with engagement of internal and external stakeholders in working together toward an exciting, long-term vision for Camden Catholic.As Chief Executive Officer of the school, the President's overall responsibility includes institutional advancement and fundraising; budget and fiscal management; business operations and building management; personnel; and enrollment, marketing, and communications. The President is also a leader of school as a community of faith, with ultimate responsibility for the integrity of the Catholic identity, doctrine taught, and practice of the faith at the school. Working closely with the Principal, the Board of Trustees, the Superintendent of Schools, and other groups within the school community, the President provides leadership with regard to mission, vision, and strategic planning to define and achieve strategic goals and objectives for Camden Catholic.
The next President of Camden Catholic will be a practicing Catholic with an advanced degree in education or a related field and at least seven years of relevant administrative or executive experience. The President will have a significant commitment to the Catholic identity of the school; a successful track record in organizational leadership, fundraising, and financial management; dedication to maintaining the traditions of Camden Catholic while fostering an environment of business and academic innovation appropriate to a 21st Century Catholic high school; and the ability to build and motivate a hardworking team to achieve the goals and objectives of the school. The President exemplifies and leads through Camden Catholic's core values of honor, loyalty, faith, and tradition.
