President of Holy Cross AcademyReports to: Pastors of the four member parishes
About Holy Cross Academy:
Holy Cross Academy is a unique Catholic elementary school formed in 2012, serving four parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Academy consists of four campuses, each dedicated to different grade levels, providing a nurturing environment that emphasizes academic excellence and faith formation.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality academic and faith formation program where each student develops spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Rooted in the Person of Jesus Christ and in the Catholic tradition, we strive to prepare our students to live a faith-filled life.
Position Overview:
The President of Holy Cross Academy serves as both the Chief Executive Officer and spiritual leader, overseeing the Academy's academic, operational, financial, and faith-based initiatives. The President works closely with the Board of Directors, pastors, administrators, and staff to ensure the Academy's growth, sustainability, and alignment with Catholic values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Vision:
-Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Academy, in collaboration with the Pastors and Board.
-Foster a strong community, integrating Catholic values into all aspects of school culture.
2. Administrative Oversight:
-Supervise daily operations, including budgeting, staffing, and policy implementation.
-Ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with educational regulations and diocesan policies.
3. Faith Formation:
-Lead efforts to ensure the Academy's Catholic identity is integrated in curriculum, worship, and student activities.
-Oversee religious education and spiritual development programs.
4. Development & Fundraising:
-Lead fundraising efforts, donor relations, and community partnerships to secure financial resources.
-Promote the Academy's mission through campaigns, events, and outreach.
5. Strategic Planning & Policy Development:
-Implement and assess the Academy's long-term strategic plan for growth and sustainability.
-Regularly review school policies related to academics, student conduct, and employee relations.
6. Public Relations & Communication:
-Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Academy.
-Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including parents, alumni, and the community.
7. Student Well-Being:
-Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
-Oversee programs that address students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
8. Collaboration with the Board:
-Work closely with the Board to review progress, make strategic decisions, and plan for the future.

• Minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience.

• Master's degree in business, education, or finance (preferred).
