Job Description

The Center Coordinator of Education is the local administrator who oversees the day-to-day quality of the classroom instruction, manages and provides ongoing coaching of the local staff, and provides Christian leadership for the local families. Tasks are listed below. One must be able to attend one week of training in the July 2025 (dates TBD), and attend 3 days of local training in August (dates TBD). This position is a part-time position, requiring work hours 9:30am-4pm on Mondays/Thursdays at the local center (nursery provided) - and - Work from home 12pm-4pm Tuesday/Wednesday (Friday only as needed). Work schedule is compatible for parents caring for children.

Center Coordinator of Education - Job Description
(25 hours per week)
Ongoing Operations of Education

Open OR close facility - coordinate with Center Coordinator of Operations (CCO) (one admin opens and one admin closes)
Approve all tutor lesson plans for first quarter
Manage substitutions and staffing issues
Meet with parents/tutors as needed to formulate educational/disciplinary plans
Teach 1-2 upper school courses or lower school core subjects (predicated on center size); substitute as needed
Receive students sent to the office for discipline
FACTS Gradebook Administration

Keep all tutors' grade books up-to-date
Beginning-of-the-year set-up at CCE training
Monitor discipline log
Staff Management

Work with the Regional Manager to finalize all staff schedules
Attend and help lead staff training
Perform semester observations and evaluations for tutors
Center Fundraiser

Attend and assist CCO throughout the day of the event if needed
Retreat and Formation

Coordinate 7th - 12th grade retreat
Conduct or delegate Upper School formation talks monthly
Student Schedules

Make sure schedules are up-to-date in FACTS
Admissions and Family Interviews

Schedule family interviews
Keep track of admissions and applications
Schedule prospective family tours
Receive admissions calls
Lead at least 2 local touring events
Student Discipline and Formation

Oversee classroom management of students
Direct formation and spiritual growth of students
Oversee student uniform adherence
Center Social and Spiritual Life Coordination

Coordinate Parent Nights of Formation
Coordinate all spiritual formation events for the Center
Center Sacramental Life

Schedule Confessions quarterly
Coordinator Training

Attend one week of summer administrator training

Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided. Tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.

Applicants must pass a background check and safe training prior to the start of employment and complete training modules and assessment required for the position.

Administrator training is in Dallas, TX the week of July 2025, dates TBD.

Local staff training at the Baton Rouge, LA center will be in August 2025, dates TBD.
