Job Description

Our administrative assistants serve as "the tip of the spear", representing our brand and providing the highest quality of service.Even more, our administrative assistance get the chance to work directly with all departments at Sophia Institute, including production, editorial, marketing, curriculum, warehouse, finance, and public relations. Through their daily tasks, they learn business processes and best practices in these fields, as well as training in cutting-edge software.
**This role is not remote eligible.**
The administrative assistant position is considered an entry level role. Many successful candidates have begun this position immediately after completing their education. Salary range begins at $41,600 annually, with the upper range commensurate with experience.

The Administrative Assistant will provide support to key members of the Sophia Institute team, including marketing, accounts and billing, fundraising, and other areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Answers the telephone and interactive web chat and processes book orders
-Works in collaboration with Sophia staff to ensure we are effectively communicating with key constituencies
-Processes donations and enters data into database
-Enters customer and account data related to book sales
-Conducts other work as needed
-Performs any work requested by a superior
