Middle School Langauge Arts Teacher- Grammar and Writing

Job Description

The candidate will have a passion for working with middle school students and helping them to succeed. The teacher will have the ability to do the following:
* operate in a catholic environment promoting strong moral values
* manage a 7th grade homeroom
* provide the students with a strong foundation in grammar and writing instruction with the ability to inspire and engage students in Grades 6-8.
* plan and implement lessons that cover grammar rules, sentence structure, and punctuation.
* present lessons to help students to effectively organize and articulate their thoughts through various forms of writing.
* create a positive environment conducive to learning and discussion.
* collaborate with middle school colleagues regularly
* communicate often with parents

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
