Job Description
Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full-Time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2024-25 academic year. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith-filled environment. It is centrally located in Richmond's Museum District.The Middle School Science Teacher will partner with parents and teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum. The Teacher will teach all Middle School Science classes and provide support, as needed, to the Elementary Teachers. This position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Applicant Requirements
Applicant must
• hold a bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university in science, engineering, or a related area
• have a passion and commitment to classical education
• be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
• upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
• hold a Virginia Teacher Certification with an endorsement for Middle School and Secondary Science or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
