Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is a part-time position for which we are willing to train. This position is 25 hours a week year round. The ideal candidate will be diligent and detail oriented and will manage the parish's sacramental records and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our church office. This position requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, personability and organizational skills.

Managing the church office, including answering phones, greeting visitors, responding to emails, coordinating volunteers, ordering office supplies, handling correspondence.

Maintaining parishioner records and managing the parish database. -

Maintain Parish Census

Overseeing the bulk mailings and other communications.
Working with staff members to complete special projects

Proficiency in Parish Data Systems software preferred but not required

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Familiarity with the Roman Catholic Church and its operations is preferred.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
