About this Position:
Napa Legal Institute is seeking a full-time Content & Program Manager to join its team. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter eager to protect and advance religious liberty and the missions of faith-based nonprofits. Read more about the position below.

About Napa Legal:
Napa Legal is a Catholic nonprofit that works to protect faith-based organizations so they can achieve their missions. Napa Legal focuses on three key programs: All Access, an online library of courses and materials for nonprofit leaders; The Good Counselor Project, a fellowship program and network for attorneys of faith; and The Faith and Freedom Index, an annual index scoring state friendliness to faith-based nonprofits.

Faith Commitment:
Responding to Christ's call to all the faithful to work in his vineyard (cf. Christifideles Laici, para. 3), all Napa Legal Team Members are expected to:
- Be practicing Catholics who are in communion with the Roman Pontiff, faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and able to participate in and lead Christian prayer at team meetings and events;
- Exhibit the uprightness of life proper to a Christian in accordance with Catholic moral teaching
- Regularly participate in the Church's sacramental life; and
- Work collaboratively with leadership, staff members, and representatives of other organizations working at the forefront of religious freedom and freedom of conscience (Alliance Defending Freedom, Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, Religious Freedom Institute, etc.).

Hours and Location:
40 hours per week; some weekends and weeknights will be required; some travel required (likely 3-4 trips annually)

Salary:
Commensurate with Experience

Essential Responsibilities:
The Outreach & Mission Advancement Coordinator will support the mission of Napa Legal by spreading the word about Napa Legal, our programs, and our resources. Specifically, the Coordinator will lead initiatives to ensure that Napa Legal's resources reach those individuals and organizations most in need. Specific responsibilities include:

Initiate and cultivate new strategic relationships with nonprofit leaders, All Access current and future users, current and prospective network attorneys, and other supporters in furtherance of Napa Legal's mission;
- Serve as an ambassador to spread awareness of Napa Legal's mission, resources, and programs;
- Build and maintain a network of nonprofits and other potential users of All Access and Napa Legal resources;
- Develop strategies to identify opportunities to connect with new nonprofits and expand network; and
- Interact with Napa Legal nonprofit and network members at in-person and virtual events and meetings..

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong candidates for the Outreach & Mission Advancement Coordinator are self-starters who would be comfortable with initiating new relationships, enjoy spending the majority of their time interacting with others, thrive when given autonomy in their projects, and work well in a fast-paced environment. All Team Members at Napa Legal are committed to excellence, have a strong work ethic and sense of self-motivation, understand the role of faith-based institutions in our society, and desire to serve and strengthen these institutions. All qualified candidates will be considered. Stand-out candidates will be willing to expand their skill set through participation in full-team projects as needed. Required skills include:
- Enthusiasm for communication and meeting new people
- Ability to initiate new connections and develop network from the ground up
- Willingness to travel and attend events occasionally on weeknights and weekends
- Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn new software programs, including Salesforce, Canva, AirTable, and others.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- A demonstrated interest in religious liberty and Catholic culture-building
- Experience in development, mission advancement, sales, marketing, government affairs, or external relations a plus, but candidates without experience will be considered if otherwise qualified
