Job Description
We are currently looking for a creative and gifted full time Director of Music to join our staff of the parishes of Church of the Assumption, St Peter and St Richard in Richfield.In this position your primary responsibility is to direct the liturgical music ensembles in a way that invites the active participation of the entire faith community in the liturgy.
Our ideal candidate will be proficient in choral conducting and liturgical music leadership. To excel at this position, you will be passionate about the power of music to enhance the joy and prayer of worship.
Qualifications:
BA or MA in Music or 3-5 yrs relevant experience.
Candidate should demonstrate skills and experience in choral conducting and liturgical music leadership.
Working knowledge of Catholic liturgical principles.
Must be collaborative, self-motivated and flexible.
Successful candidates are required to pass a standard Archdiocesan background check and to attend safe environment training
