Job Description

Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, affectionately known as "The Mount," is a renowned all-boys Catholic institution with a proud legacy of academic, athletic, and spiritual excellence. Since its founding in 1876 by the Xaverian Brothers, the school has upheld a tradition of providing a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of its students. The campus, consisting of six buildings on a 33-acre site in the southwestern area of the city, has become a beloved fixture in the Baltimore community, where it is known for its strong sense of camaraderie, tradition, and values-driven approach to education.

The school's strong academic program is reflected in its impressive statistics, with a high graduation rate and a significant percentage of graduates going on to attend top colleges and universities across the country. Last year, over 93% of the students sitting for AP exams scored a 3 or higher. The school's Board of Directors has commenced a national search for the Mount's next visionary President, who would begin service July 2025. The President reports directly to the Board and has key responsibilities in the areas of mission-stewardship, philanthropy, strategic vision and direction, and leadership of a high level team of capable administrators.
