Position: Executive Director of Admissions and Family Engagement

Job Summary:
St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director of Admissions and Family Engagement to lead all aspects of student recruitment,
enrollment, and family engagement. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract, enroll, and retain students while fostering meaningful relationships with prospective and current families, alumni, and the broader school community.
The Director will play a vital role in advancing the school's mission and ensuring long-term
enrollment success.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions & Enrollment Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive admissions strategy to attract and enroll mission-appropriate students to St. John the Baptist High School.
Plans and implements a yearly work plan including scheduling of publications, events, mailings, correspondence, meetings and other enrollment based tasks. .
Manage the admissions process, including application review, interviews, and final enrollment decisions in collaboration with school leadership.
Organize and oversee open houses, school visits, shadow days, and other recruitment events.
Maintain and analyze enrollment data to track trends, forecast enrollment, and inform decision-making.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, parents and administration to ensure a seamless transition for new students.
Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective families and serves as a voice to the community for St. John the Baptist High School.
Lead the Student Ambassador program.
Collaborate with staff to have successful Cougar for a day visits.
Coordinate with the Diocese of Rockville Centre regarding our International Students Program.

Marketing & Outreach:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the school's mission, values, and programs to prospective families.
Work closely with the Communications team and Administration to create print and digital content, including brochures, website updates, and social media campaigns.

Foster relationships with local elementary and middle schools, parishes, and community organizations to enhance outreach efforts. This includes school visits and organizing special events.
Family & Community Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current families to ensure a welcoming and supportive school experience.
Organize family engagement programs, including parent information sessions, welcome events, and student transition programs.
Serve as a liaison between the school and parent organizations, ensuring alignment with school goals and mission.
Develop initiatives that support student retention and enhance the sense of community within the school.
Financial Aid & Tuition Assistance:
Work in collaboration with the Finance Office and Administration to administer financial aid and scholarship programs.
Assist families with the financial aid application process and provide guidance on available tuition assistance programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Education, School Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, or a related field, preferably in a Catholic or Higher Academic setting.
A practicing Catholic who:
Lives an exemplary life of holiness and serves as a role model for students and school personnel.
Embodies a commitment to and zeal for Catholic Education and the mission of St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School.
Is publicly and privately faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church as contained in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Code Canon Law as interpreted by the Diocesan Bishop.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, parents, faculty, and alumni.
Proficiency in admissions software, database management, and digital marketing strategies.
Ability to work evenings and weekends and travel locally as needed for recruitment and engagement events.

Salary Range: $75K - 115K , standard Diocean benefits package.
