Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Specialist - This is a temporary contract position

Organization: Regina Caeli Academy

Position Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in promoting the academy's fundraising
initiatives, donor relations, and overall resource development efforts. This role requires excellent
communication skills, a creative mindset, and experience in marketing, communications, or
related fields. This position reports to the Advancement Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Advertising:
Create and manage digital ad campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads
and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Design compelling ad copies, set budgets, target specific demographics, and
monitor campaign performance.
Analyze campaign results and optimize strategies to maximize return on
investment (ROI).
Content Creation:
Develop engaging content for the academy's website, blogs, social media
platforms, and email newsletters.
Craft persuasive messaging and storytelling to attract supporters and promote
fundraising initiatives.
Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos to enhance content.
Social Media Management:
Manage and grow the academy's social media presence by creating and
scheduling posts across platforms.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages promptly,
and engage with followers.
Utilize analytics to track performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies
for improvement.
Email Marketing:
Utilize Mailchimp as the email service provider (ESP) to create and manage
email marketing campaigns.
Develop compelling email newsletters, appeals, and fundraising campaigns to
engage donors and supporters.
Maintain the email subscriber list, segment recipients for targeted messaging,
and analyze email performance metrics.
Website Management:
Ensure the academy's website is up to date, visually appealing, and effectively
communicates its mission and fundraising initiatives.
Update website content, optimize design and user experience, and implement
SEO strategies to improve visibility.
Track website analytics and make data-driven improvements to enhance performance.

Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor marketing metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate
reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
Provide insights and recommendations to the Advancement Director based on
data analysis to optimize marketing strategies and resource development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related
field or at least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
Experience creating fundraising appeals and marketing materials.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices and strategies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, Google workspace, Mailchimp and donor
management software.
