Extended Care Leader

Job Description

This position includes responsibilities for assisting students with homework, and leading activities during our before and/or after school extended day program. We seek candidates who have enthusiasm, respect, integrity, understanding, and patience. The Extended Care Leader is expected to meet all staff goals, guidelines, and duties which include:
Monitors and assists students.
Leads games, art projects and small quiet groups.
Supervises and assists students during homework time.
Complies with security procedures, including attendance, pick-up, and emergency procedures to ensure the children's safety.
Actively maintains a clean and organized site.
Assists children with problem-solving skills.
Communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Certification in child First Aid and CPR is helpful. Certification can be obtained once hired.
General Work Schedule: Mondays -Fridays 3:15-5:15 PM and/or 7:30 - 8:15 AM.
