Job Description

Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Department: Office of Mission Advancement
Reports To: Director of Operations
FLSA: Exempt

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the Leadership Team, vendors, and other team members to contribute to our increased marketing efforts using new media and digital tools to promote the brand, organization, and to increase awareness and engagement with prospects and donors.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:
• Through marketing automation, design and implement digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals to promote the Archbishops' Annual Appeal, second collections, mission cooperative and other ministries and programs.
• Create and manage link-building and content marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain a social media presence.
• Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase prospect and donor engagement.
• Work with internal and External teams to implement and manage SEO/PPC, marketing database, and digital email marketing.
• Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization to drive traffic to website. Regularly update user journey on website as required.
• Coordinate with Social Media Specialist to create and publish engaging content.
• Create strategies to boost brand awareness and targeted campaigns.
• Assist with content creation for various social media.
• Forecast and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPI).
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide suggestions for adoption to enhance the digital marketing efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education /Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, and
• Previous experience (2 years) with marketing automation.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and creating digital campaigns that engage, inform, and inspire.
• Content Management Systems (CMS) experience WordPress preferred.
• Experience in marketing automation HubSpot, Constant Contact or MailChimp
• Knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools. Google analytics experience a plus.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and optimizing landing pages and user funnels a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be willing to work flexible hours

• The work week is generally 37.5 hours per week on a year round basis; however the position requires a willingness and flexibility in work hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. Employee is subject to Personnel Policies and procedures prescribed for all personnel.
