Job Description

The Diocese of Savannah has an immediate opening for a Property Project and Facilities Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position that is responsible for:
• Parishes, Schools, and Agencies in planning and developing new facilities;
• Serves as a liaison to insure that diocesan building standards are met, and projects are on-time and on-budget;
• Responsible for providing guidance for major renovations and repairs to current facilities;
• And manages building and cemetery staff for the Catholic Pastoral Center and the ancillary properties in Savannah.
Experience is required in:
• Developing Strategic Plans
• Preparing and managing budgets
• Risk Assessment and OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of A1A Contracts for Architects and Contractors
• Knowledge of real estate purchases, sales, and leases
This position requires:
• A Catholic in good standing with the Church
• A minimum of 10 years of increased responsibility in Construction, Design, and/or Architectural procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of federal laws on work safety and construction
• Advanced experience in strategic planning, problem solving and delegation
• Experience in project and staff supervision
• Travel within southern Georgia is required
