Location: This position is based out of Houston, TX and serves the region of TX, OK, LA, MS, AL, GA, CO, NM, and WY.

Overview of the Position
As a part of the Pro-Life Generation, Students for Life of America is looking for a Campus Formation Coordinator (CFC). What sets Students for Life apart from other organizations is our full-time Field Team who travel daily in their respective regions visiting campuses to start, train, and mobilize Students for Life groups. When CFCs step onto a campus, they go beyond simply helping to establish a pro-life group. They create a lasting legacy that is transforming our nation toward a culture of life.

The Campus Formation Coordinator serves both on the ground and behind the scenes, alongside Regional Coordinators (RCs), to increase the level of pro-life involvement at a grassroots level across multiple states. There are three key duties: 1) start new Students for Life groups, 2) turn inactive groups into higher quality groups, and 3) be willing and ready to serve as a substitute for RC duties if assistance is needed. CFCs will complete outreach on average, 3 days a week, working the remaining days remotely.

It is important that all members of Students for Life of America's (SFLA) Field Team be dedicated and flexible with the national mission in mind: to abolish abortion. CFCs must be innovative, fast-moving, and gritty team-players, able to go above and beyond when needed.

Responsibilities
-Expand the reach of Students for Life of America.
-Start new SFLA groups at middle schools, homeschools, high schools, community colleges, universities, and med/law schools.
-Work to achieve SFLA's 5 Year Plan: Campus Takeover, by starting groups at the majority of 4-year colleges in the region they serve.
-Travel to unique campuses throughout the year. This requires scheduling, planning, and preparing your travel schedule, including connecting with student groups, ensuring regulations are followed, and host homes are booked.
-Find interested students through on-campus events such as tabling, flyering, clipboarding, research, relationships, and other innovative means.
-Empower and mentor new pro-life leaders in establishing groups.
-Research local target schools to find innovative ways to start groups.
-Build relationships and share resources with existing pro-life groups who are not yet within the Students for Life network.
-Table at large events like Christian music festivals and conferences.
-Meet annual metrics by strategizing ways to achieve them.
-Collect community contacts to bring into the SFLA fold.
-Work with the SFLA Development Team in fundraising efforts.
-Turn inactive groups into higher quality groups.
-Creatively improve the activity level and establish relationships with Students for Life groups.
-Provide materials, advice, and more to groups and their leaders.
-Schedule trainings and tabling events.
-Strategically working with the RC in supporting regional health.
-Outreach and research virtually.
-Be willing and ready to serve as a substitute for Regional Coordinator if assistance is needed. This may include, but is not limited to...
-Maintain communication with Students for Life groups.
-Conduct trainings and tabling outreach.
-Scheduling trainings, tabling, and other outreach opportunities.
-Mentoring and consulting pro-life group leaders.
-Auditing current Students for Life groups through research, calling, and other creative outreach.
-Substituting for the RC at a large event.
-Administration.
-Participate in weekly calls and daily group chats to report progress.
-Enter data entry and regular use of a database system.
-Conduct quick email communication.
-Assist with administrative tasks.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Knowledge of grammar rules and utilize the oxford comma.
-Minimum of an associate degree, but a bachelor's degree is preferred. Must have valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle to travel region.
-Some experience working or volunteering within the Pro-Life Movement.
-Comfortability with public speaking, as CFCs will give trainings, speak at protests, rallies, and other events.
-Budget management, as a budget will be provided within which the Campus Formation Coordinator is responsible for ordering all supplies, covering travel expenses, etc.

Who Are We Looking For
-A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for serving in the pro-life field are a must.
-Teachable to learn SFLA technologies and platforms.
-Candidates must be self- motivated, a good problem solver, have an entrepreneurial spirit, expert multi-tasker, maintain confidentiality, able to work independently, and be a highly organized person.
-Someone with the capability to remain calm and courageous when under pressure from opposition on campus.
-A team player, as various opportunities to support your team will arise.
-Grittiness, as this position requires physical, emotional, and spiritual grit on the ground. Talking about a life or death issue every day isn't for the faint of heart!
