Job Description

Mary Help of Christians Catholic School in Parkland, Florida has an opening for a qualified (K-5) Elementary School Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program. The Elementary School Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.

Qualifications:
*BS /BA Degree in Education or Elementary Education or equivalent.
*FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, Grades K-6, temporary or professional required (or eligible).
*Minimum of two years' teaching experience preferred.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
*Effective capabilities with Apple iPad.
*Proficiency in Canvas, Plus Portals, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
*Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
*Good spelling and grammar required.
*Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Catholic environment preferred.
