Job Description
For 2025 - 2026 school year, to start July 2025Holy Family Classical Academy is a PreK-8th grade Classical school in the Catholic Tradition.
Reports to: Board of Directors
Administrative Model
The Headmaster, School Office Coordinator, and School Board will form the administrative team at Holy Family Classical Academy for the 2025-26 School Year
The Headmaster is responsible for internal operations, including the instructional leadership of the school, supervision of instructional personnel, the curriculum, public relations, and student life.
The School Office Coordinator is responsible for the business aspects of the administration including finances, bookkeeping, and payroll.
The School Board is responsible for fundraising, strategic planning, and building facilities.
These leaders share responsibilities for nurturing and maintaining the mission and traditions of the school, and ensuring fidelity to the Magisterium. The Headmaster is hired by and reports directly to the School Board.
Summary
The Headmaster serves as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that adheres to our Catholic identity and meets the approved curricula and mission of the school. The Headmaster is responsible for the curriculum, instructional leadership of the school, supervision of instructional personnel, student life, discipline, related parent communication, and public relations.
The Headmaster must be practicing Roman Catholic, possess the minimum of a Master's Degree, and demonstrate a commitment to Classical Catholic Primary education.
The School Board appoints the Headmaster of Holy Family Classical Academy. A collaborative relationship between the Headmaster and the School Board is vital. In addition to any teaching responsibilities, the duties of the Headmaster include: (1) curriculum and academic excellence; (2) instruction; (3) student life and discipline;
(4) parent communications; (5) student admissions; (6) guidance; (7) other school operations (8) public relations.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Curriculum and Academic Excellence
Oversee adherence to curriculum
Oversee implementation of changes to curriculum
Oversee school accreditation process per School Board guidelines
Instruction
Conduct classroom observations for faculty members as part of evaluation process
Parent Communications
Meet with parents regarding student discipline and academic issues
Communicate with parents about special events and school activities
Admissions
Meet with prospective families, interview prospective students, and review student application material for admittance
Oversee transfer student process (curriculum, regulations, forms, nancial)
Review placement tests and contact parents with remedial needs
Deliver presentations to prospective parents and students at selected school events in the absence of the board
Public Relations

Requirements
Education:
Mandatory - Master's in Education or related field
Experience:
Significant teaching experience in a classical school environment; familiarity with the mission of Holy Family
Classical Academy and the teachings of the Catholic Church;
