Job Description

The University of Saint Francis invites inquiries, nominations and applications for the position of Associate Vice President for Catholic Culture (AVPCC) and Dean of Students. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The AVPCC and Dean of Students will report to Vice President for Catholic Culture and Student Life (VPCCSL) Sr. Maria Gemma Salyer and will have responsibility over the areas of Student Life and Conduct, Residential Life, Student Engagement, First Year Experience, Campus Ministry and the Assisi Program for Discipleship and Leadership, ensuring the university's Catholic identity, Franciscan charism and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the center of our educational mission and public identity. The AVPCC and Dean of Students is responsible for assisting the VPCCSL in advancing the university's efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan. The successful candidate will be a Catholic in good standing who displays exceptional character and organizational vision for providing formation of the whole person within a Catholic worldview. The new AVPCC and Dean of Students is expected to begin serving no later than June 2025.
