Job Description

• Oversees all tasks connected with parish finances
• Prepares and manages the parish budget
• Administers payroll and benefits administration and maintains employee time sheets and schedules (vacation time, etc.)
• Assists with employee hiring, offboarding and conflict resolution and maintains personnel files
• Processes accounts payable and receivable
• Administers check requests and reimbursements
• Monitors all bank accounts and reconciles bank statements
• Manages the parish's financial record keeping, including monthly closing and posting journal entries
• Administers the on-line giving system
• Completes annual financial reports and prepares monthly financial reports for the finance council
• Assists with fundraising
This position is full time with benefits with a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening meetings.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Practicing Roman Catholic
Business experience
College diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in WORD and Excel
Strong attention to detail
Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as a member of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Requirements
Experience working in a Church setting
Knowledge of Paylocity and Parishsoft
