ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
The Assistant Director of Religious Education provides oversight of evening Religious Education classes (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) and assists with student sacramental preparation and special events. Serves as diocesan liaison to the Office of Child Protection to ensure that all St. Mary's volunteers and staff are compliant.

A Master's degree in Religious Education, Theology, or related field is preferred; Specialized or Master Catechist Certification is required. (This can be completed online within the first year of employment). Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, age 18 or older, in full compliance with the Office of Protection of Children/Young People. Must be committed to present and witness to the authentic teachings of the Church, and sign an Oath of Fidelity.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and be organized, reliable, detail-oriented, friendly, approachable, and have a heart for children and families. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
