High School and Middle School Choir Director

Job Description

Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic School anticipates an opening for a high school and middle school Choir Director for the 2025-2026 School Year.

The qualified candidate will possess the ability to bring the good, the true, and the beautiful to life through music, demonstrating an appreciation for sacred choral music, chant, contemporary worship music, and different genres of secular music to be used in a variety of settings.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; Certification or ability to obtain certification required
• Master's Degree, and three or more years of teaching experience preferred
• Experience with concert, performance events, etc. preferred
• Possess or be willing to obtain teaching certification
• Must undergo a background check and complete the Ethics and Integrity Program of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas

Salary: Commensurate with experience
