Director of Admissions and MarketingChesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory
Centennial, Colorado
Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory, a Catholic, classical high school, seeks a full-time Director of Admissions and Marketing to lead our recruiting, promotion, and elevation of our school among current families, prospective families, benefactors, and the wider community.
Starting with only 18 students in 2019, OLV quadrupled its enrollment by its fifth year. After discernment and prayer, and trusting God to lead us, we began a plan to double our enrollment starting in 2025, to about 160 students. Thanks be to God, we have successfully enrolled our first Freshman class with two sections and will welcome them in the Fall of 2025. The Director of Admissions and Marketing will have the unique opportunity and joy to serve these new families, complete our vision of enrollment growth, and champion our school in our community.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Admissions Student Recruiting & Outreach
- Oversee student recruitment and outreach plan
- Outreach and communications with schools and parishes to advertise all admissions events,
- Maintain strong relationships with communication directors and office staff at schools/parishes
- Prospect, steward, and walk in discernment alongside prospective families from initial inquiry to acceptance
- Responsible for successful execution of all prospective family events: open houses, tours, shadow days, and the like
- Serve as internal liaison and champion for the Parent Hospitality Committee for each event
- Oversee plan for selection and training of student ambassadors
- Complete periodic classroom observations to aid in recruiting and friend raising
- Attend all major school events to keep abreast of school culture and initiatives, to promote same to prospective families and other supporters
Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications, marketing, and promotions strategies that provide consistent, intentional, and appropriate positioning of the school with internal and external constituents
- Responsible for all external outreach for the purpose of recruiting new students, and re-recruiting current students, volunteers, parents, grandparents, priests and religious, and donors
- Working with the development officer, cultivate good relationships with parish priests to ensure promotion of the school among parishioners with middle to high school aged children, and to promote where necessary parish monetary support of their students attending OLV
- Responsible for all website design and updates
- Design and inventory management of all promotional materials
- Working with the development officer, develop and execute plan to increase alumni and parent or grandparent support and involvement
- Responsible for video editing, photography, or creation of reels for social media
- Create and oversee all social media content as well as specific campaigns (Fall Giving Day, major cultura vitae events, Spring Evening of Fine Arts Benefit, March for Life, Graduation, to name just a few)
Enrollment & Tuition Management
- Responsible for all aspects of the admissions, enrollment and tuition management process
- Manage placement test process with the assistance of the Academic Dean
- Responsible for applicant interview process, working with admissions committee and headmaster
Other
- Attendance at OLV Daily Mass (7:30 a.m.) at least 2 days per week or equivalent (i.e. daily Mass at supportive parishes when a parish office visit or priest meeting has been arranged in conjunction) is highly encouraged
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned by the head of school

- Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with prospects; strong listening skills, and ability to converse with others in a thoughtful, engaged manner

- Possess the highest integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in dealing with colleagues, benefactors, parents, and students
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to work under pressure
- Strong self-starter, independent worker, and advocate for needs to make the role successful
- High energy, dynamic, positive personality
- Strong proficiencies in organizational, and written and verbal communications skills
- Administrative experience or training in a school or professional office setting is preferred
- Track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise is desirable
- Outstanding computer and technical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills including familiarity with Canva, Instagram, Meta, and Facebook, Adobe Pro or other design software, as well as Google Suite, MailChimp or similar communication programs
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and duties
- A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent in experience
Although not in the classroom, the successful candidate will have daily contact with students, and therefore candidates must be practicing Catholics pursuing a life of virtue and holiness through prayer and the Sacramental life. They must also be willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. These are necessary to the role of modeling the Christian life to the students. This role reports to the headmaster.
Schedule, Classification, and Pay Range
The position is full-time approximately 40 hours a week, more at times particularly during peak recruiting and fundraising seasons (fall & spring). This position works year-round, though more flexibility is available during school breaks and the month of July.
Exempt, salary, range $45,000 - $65,000 annual salary
