St. Benedict Church and School, Holmdel, NJ
Coordinator of Faith Formation

Full-time, evening and weekends needed according to parish calendar of events.

The Coordinator of Faith Formation/Youth ministry is an integral part of the Formation team at St. Benedict Church. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about using their pastoral and organizational gifts to form Christian disciples dedicated to the Lord Jesus through prayer and service, particularly among the youth of the parish.

Duties and Responsibilities
o Assist the Director with planning and implementation of all primary/middle school faith formation
programs, including catechesis and service projects.
o Organize and implement various programs for middle school & high school age youth.
o Recruit and develop a team of adult volunteers for middle school and high school youth programs.
o Attend Faith Formation department meetings and Parish Staff meetings.
o Coordinator must have evening and weekend availability as needed.

Applicants must meet ALL the minimum requirements for consideration:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Theology, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, or related field; or equivalent experience in a similar ministry role.
Active Roman Catholic in good standing.
Proven experience building relationships and working with young people in a ministry context.
