Job Description
The Disaster Relief Manager will provide comprehensive case management services to individuals and families affected by disasters. This role involves assessing needs, developing recovery plans, and coordinating resources to support clients' long-term recovery. Additionally, the Disaster Relief Manager will collaborate with other programs within the agency to streamline case management processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency agency wide. This position has supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Director of Programs.Salary Range: $50,000 - $53,000

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct supervision, support, and guidance to case management staff and volunteers involved in the CCETN Disaster Relief program
• Oversee workload distribution among disaster relief staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for case management staff
• Address staff concerns and escalate issues to the Director of Programs as needed
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for individuals and families affected by disasters
• Develop and implement individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients
• Coordinate and connect clients with resources, services, and support systems to facilitate recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with agency policies and funding requirements
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting recovery plans as needed
• Serve as a liaison between clients and community resources, including housing, healthcare, mental health, and financial assistance providers
• Collaborate with local, state, national and other agencies to leverage resources for client recovery
• Advocate for clients' needs within the broader disaster recovery framework
• Identify gaps in disaster-related services and propose solutions to enhance program effectiveness
• Provide feedback to the Director of Programs to improve disaster relief service delivery
• Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for staff and volunteers involved in disaster relief efforts
• Be available for emergency response situations
• With assistance from supervisors, develop a program policy and procedure manual for the Disaster Relief Program
Agency-Wide Case Management/Program Support
• Collaborate with staff across programs to evaluate and refine case management practices
• Implement the standardized of case management tools, procedures, and documentation protocols
• Share best practices and facilitate communication among case managers agency wide
• Provide guidance and training to program leaders and case management staff to ensure consistent service delivery across programs
• Conduct regular audits of case management practices to ensure compliance
• Learn reporting requirements for programs
• Support programs as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Must be able to move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Must hold a valid driver license
• Must be willing to travel within the areas served
• This position may require flexible hours during disaster-related emergencies, including evening and weekends.
• Must work independently and be self-motivated
• Must maintain any training and certification requirements
• Must support the teachings of the Catholic Church and embody our organization's mission and culture through behavior and daily interactions
• Regular and predicable on-site attendance is required
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in case management, disaster recovery, or social services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery systems, resources, and best practices
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across departments
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding communication
