Job Description

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School, in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an Assistant Principal with a start date of July 1, 2025. Applicants must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the church, committed to the development of the faith life of teachers and students, and dedicated to the ministry of Catholic education. In addition, a qualified applicant must have: (1) a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably in a Catholic school; (2) a Master's Degree in School Administration or in another academic area with the ability to complete required courses within 3 years of hire; (3) hold Administration and Supervision certification/endorsement or be able to obtain this certification within 3 years of hire; and (4) hold Basic Diocesan Religion Certification or be eligible to obtain this certification within 3 years of hire.

About the Employer

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School was founded in 1977 and is administered and staffed by the religious community of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia and a lay faculty. It serves over 520 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and three Arlington Diocese parishes: Our Lady of Angels, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Sacred Heart. It has a diverse student body with over 20 percent of the students speaking one of 17 secondary languages.
