Job Description

San Pedro Catholic Church in Tavernier (Upper Keys), Florida is seeking a motivated and qualified Part-time Music Director. The Music Director will develop and sustain a prayerful, singing assembly at three (3) weekend masses and other holidays in order to increase attendance. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in music or related field preferred.
Previous related employment or committed volunteer experience of minimum two (2) years.
Knowledge of the Catholic liturgy and demonstrating sharing of the faith.
Able to communicate with and work well with people and solve problems as needed.
Good organizational skills.
Be familiar with church liturgy and music.
Knowledge of computers.
Must have a professional demeanor.
