FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours: Primarily 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; evenings and weekends required, especially during the summer.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Registration Coordinator supports the registration process by building event registration pages and forms, maintaining, and reporting on participant data, and providing excellent customer service by assisting group leaders and individual participants through the conference registration process during the peak registration season. During the spring and summer, the Registration Coordinator focuses on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing our student employees. From supervising the conference housing team to planning and executing cultural events for our student employees, the Registration Coordinator plays a vital role in the success and growth of our summer conferences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create online registration web pages and related forms for the collection of participant data, payments, and refunds. Responsible for maintaining accurate registration records and assisting the finance team in any related troubleshooting regarding transactions and deposits.
• Assist in crafting a communication plan for guests and group leaders, including composing correspondence and creation of email templates and phone scripts, incorporating the applicable communication with the registration process as directed.
• Orchestrate all duties related to the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of summer student employees. Oversee the use of related scheduling and payroll systems.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Registration and Guest Relations in the planning and execution of on-site registration, housing, and related guest services to provide a seamless and memorable experience for all in attendance at each conference or event.
• Supervise summer conference housing for our on-campus guests, including oversight of housing layout, cots, linens, and all related coordination with Physical Plant Services.
• Assist programming team in disseminating app-based conference schedule and communication updates to participants.
• Collaborate with colleagues to lead summer formation program for student employees, serving both the personal and professional needs of our students.

REQUIREMENTS
Must understand, support, and embrace the mission of Franciscan University of Steubenville and possess the following:
Technical Skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
• Experience with CRM systems preferred
• Working knowledge of scheduling/payroll applications.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in customer service or ministry.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
