8th Grade Homeroom Teacher

Job Description

Immaculata Classical Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and joyful 8th grade homeroom teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The 8th grade homeroom teacher is responsible for Algebra 1, History 7, History 8, Literature 7, Literature 8, and possibly one Latin class. Our Latin program is based on Hans Orberg's Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata series and focuses on reading and speaking Latin as a means to acquire reading fluency.

The ideal candidate is a joyful, faithful Catholic who is passionate about educating children in the Catholic liberal arts tradition and committed to academic excellence. A collegial and collaborative attitude and the ability to teach and manage a class that may include children with special needs is a must. An undergraduate degree is required and teaching experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.
