Job Description

Parish Evangelization and Young Adult Director

The Diocese of Green Bay currently has a full-time opening for a Parish Evangelization & Young Adult Director in our Green Bay Office.
The Parish Evangelization and Young Adult Director provides direction and support for parishes to build a culture of evangelization with their parishioners and those that enter their doors, especially young adults. This position will be responsible for developing small group leader training for parishes and to develop and assemble resources for small group study in the parishes to build communities of disciples. This position will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a program for parishes to welcome inquirers into the OCIA process. They will also be a diocesan resource for parishes who have status questions of those entering the OCIA process. This position will support the Curia and parishes in implementing an evangelization centered vision for parish ministry. This position will oversee the Office of Youth Evangelization.

The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing and have a bachelor's degree in religious studies or similar with a master's degree preferred. We would like to see 5+ years of experience in a catechetical or evangelization position at the parish or diocesan level. Must understand the evangelization processes as they pertain to youth, young adults, and adults and familiarity with applicable church documents. Must also have a valid driver's license.
