Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF FORMATION

Andre House Description

Andre House of Hospitality is a vibrant ministry of the Congregation of Holy Cross serving the people of downtown Phoenix. Established in the Catholic worker tradition, Andre House (AH) is a center of hospitality and services for people who are experiencing homelessness since 1985. Named after St. Andre Bessette, a brother in the Congregation of Holy Cross, Andre House exists to make God known, loved, and served through the corporal works of mercy. AH serves our "guests" with their primary evening meal six days a week and provides other important services to this community including the supply of clothing, access to showers and hygiene alternatives, laundry service, storage lockers, and advocacy/referrals to partner agencies. Andre House has a professional staff of approximately fifteen members and is reliant on volunteers who serve approximately 8,000 "four-hour shifts" per year.
