Job Description

Job Summary
John Paul II School is seeking a dedicated teacher to serve as our full-time Technology Teacher/Project Lead the Way Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will work closely with the President & Principal to foster a culture of virtue and faith, in addition to a strong desire to grow and learn, as critical thinkers who desire to follow God's plan for his/her life while in the pursuit of excellence. The Technology/Project Lead The Way Teacher is responsible for classroom instruction of the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Design and Modeling and technology classes for grades 9-12.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and uphold the mission of Catholic education in the Diocese of Charleston
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding Project Lead the Way and Technology.
• Attend necessary training (including summer)
• Participate as an active member of the Technology Committee
• Introduce school selected computer applications to students
• Assist with the dissemination of materials related to computer technology
• Expand the STEM initiative at the high school
• Technology and coaching professional development
• Teach other assigned subjects
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President and Principal.
