Client Advocate DescriptionJob Title: Client Advocate / Atlanta Clinic
Reports to: Director of Operations and Client Care
Classification: Full-time / Proposed 40 hrs./wk.

5. Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion. (When a situation arises where a woman's life is at risk, the clinic advocates taking measures to preserve her life, hoping that the woman and her child can both be saved.)
6. Respects and understands the ethics of confidentiality.
7. Compassionate.
8. Demonstrates a positive attitude and a willingness and awareness to meet the basic human needs of all clients, being particularly mindful of the dignity and worth of the person, irrespective of the client's race, religious practices, and cultural or moral beliefs.
JOB OVERVIEW: The Client Advocate's primary duties include working collaboratively with the staff and client-facing team to provide care and resources for clients. The Client Advocate thoroughly assesses clients who are expecting to determine their pregnancy intention, provides support and resources for all clients, provides options counseling for clients who are considering abortion, and collaborates with the medical team to provide non-judgmental support and services. Focused care is provided for high-need clients, clients who are expecting, and postpartum. The Client Advocate confers with the Male Advocate re: the clients' visit, when applicable, to provide comprehensive care and resources for the family as they weigh pregnancy options. The Client Advocate also assesses clients for PAC's REACH and YoH programs, and follows up with clients per company policies for a needs assessment and provides necessary resources. Administrative duties include greeting callers, greeting clients, visitors, and PAC business associates, scheduling appointments, data entry, and assembling resources for clients. The Client Advocate also assists clients shopping in the boutique.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Perform reception duties, check-in, and data entry into Cool Focus for clients
• Perform client advocacy, per guidelines
• Act as chaperone for ultrasounds
• Provide appropriate referrals and resources to clients
• Performs adequate and timely follow-up with clients
• Assist with translations of documents and assists with Spanish-speaking clients
• Provides support for performance of inventories
• Provides support for maintaining calendars and logs for maintenance activities
• Provides quality control of client data as requested or assigned
• Continuing education on issues relating to abortion, adoption, and parenting
• Comply with all clinical policies
• Perform any additional duties requested by supervisor
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in social services or counseling.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus!
3. Excellent interpersonal skills
4. Self-starter with good judgment and integrity
5. Excellent administration and good organizational skills
6. Willingness and ability to serve clients and other Pregnancy Aid Clinic constituencies (including other staff, donors, vendors, etc.) in a way that honors Jesus Christ and supports and promotes Pregnancy Aid Clinic's life-affirming ministry.
7. Willingness and ability to demonstrate commitment to Pregnancy Aid Clinic mission ... (vision, statement of faith, core values-whatever is appropriate for Center) in the execution of position responsibilities.
8. Willingness and ability to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by word and example, including prayer, to encourage clients, staff, and other Pregnancy Aid Clinic constituencies and to contribute to an office environment conducive to supporting Pregnancy Aid Clinic ministry of life.
