About the Employer

The University of St. Thomas (UST) is a small private Catholic University, located in Houston, Texas, near the vibrant central business district, Texas Medical Center, and museum district. The University's Catholic identity is at the center of this mission, a Catholicism expressed for our own age by the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992), and Pope Saint John Paul II's Ex Corde Ecclesiae.

The Campus Ministry department serves all members of the University - faculty, staff, and students - but our primary focus is on the students. Our goal is to meet students where they are and to help lead them into a deeper relationship with God. We do this through retreats, small groups, and specific ministries such as music ministry, Hispanic ministry, service, social media, etc.
