Middle School - Science Teacher

St. Mary of the Mills, a Catholic Elementary School in Laurel is seeking a talented and caring educator to join our team for the Fall of 2025.
The responsibilities include teaching Science- communicate with class families- plan, prepare, assess, and grade- manage a class of 30 students- collaborate with colleagues- share in teacher duties. This person is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive safe Catholic learning environment and using positive behavior management based upon approved curricula and the mission of the school.

Like all staff members, this individual is expected to model Gospel values, demonstrate professionalism, and share in the overall supervision of the students.
Preference will be given to candidates who are state-certified as well as Catechist certified or who can demonstrate the ability to achieve Maryland, D.C., or Virginia teacher certification and ADW Catechist certification within three years.
