Part of the Divine Mercy Family of Parishes, Our Lady of the Visitation is a vibrant Parish founded in 1947 with the school currently celebrating 75 years of providing Catholic education on the west side of Cincinnati. Our Lady of the Visitation is seeking a mission-driven Catholic educational leader to serve as Principal beginning this upcoming 2025/26 school year. The Principal must be a devoted, practicing Catholic with a strong knowledge and love of the Catholic Faith and be willing to compassionately share that faith within the school community. The Principal of Our Lady of the Visitation School leads the faculty and staff to be Gospel witnesses to the 700 K-8 students in their care and their families.
The Principal is responsible for the day-to-day activities and functions of the school ensuring a productive learning environment is maintained. The Principal reports to and collaborates with the Director of Schools for the Divine Mercy Family of Parishes to implement the vision of the Pastor. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. An ability to communicate well with students, parents, faculty & staff, and other stakeholders is essential.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, 2-5 years of Catholic educational leadership or administrative experience. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Must possess an Ohio Department of Education Administrative License (or ability to obtain one), or Ohio Non-Tax License.
