First Grade Teacher

Job Description

Holy Infant Paideia Hybrid School is seeking a joy-filled and energetic First Grade Teacher for our Christ-centered, classically inspired, two-day academic program in a small, cottage school setting.

**We are looking to hire for the 2025-2026 school year.**

We are seeking a teacher with:
- Energy and love of young learners and a recognition of each child as a dignified child of God
- Good communication skills, especially with parents
- Initiative and intuition in the classroom
- Appreciation of hands-on and outdoor learning experiences
- Knowledge of Classical Education philosophies, or an interest in learning more
- Willingness to help develop a First Grade curriculum that functions well in the hybrid model of education
- Devotion to their Faith. Candidate does not need to be Catholic but should be comfortable in a Catholic School setting that is infused with the traditions and liturgies of the Faith.

* We meet in Orange, Va at St. Isidore's on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 9:00 to 3:00.
* We do not provide childcare, but welcome you to bring your own students to join our community if it is a good fit for your family
* Pay is negotiable based on experience

Holy Infant Collective is a non-profit group comprised of Catholic Christian families under the patronage of the Holy Infant of Prague. Our mission is to support Christ-centered family life in the pursuit of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful through various entities, especially Holy Infant Paideia academic program. The Paideia supports family life a collaboration of parents and qualified, dedicated instructors teaching two days per week. We seek to inspire a love of learning and desire for wisdom . We are devoted to Truth, as expressed in the Faith and Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
