Job Description:
The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal in the daily operations of the school, supporting the spiritual, academic, and administrative needs of students, faculty, and staff. This role will be integral to the success of our school, ensuring the continued fulfillment of our mission to nurture and educate students in a Christ-centered environment in order to help parents prepare good citizens for the future of this world and the next.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Principal in overseeing the academic, spiritual, and social development of all students.

Support the implementation of the school's curriculum and academic policies.

Supervise, evaluate, and provide professional development for faculty and staff.

Foster a positive and supportive school culture rooted in Catholic values.

Assist with student discipline and support the development of effective classroom management strategies.

Support school-wide events, activities, and initiatives.

Collaborate with parents and community stakeholders to ensure the success of students, actively engaging families in the educational process.

Help ensure compliance with all diocesan policies and state regulations.

Work with the Principal on resource allocation to support school needs.

Promote and integrate Catholic teachings and values in all aspects of the school's life.

Serve as the Director of the Pre-Kindergarten program, overseeing the curriculum, staff, and overall development of the early childhood education program, ensuring it aligns with the school's Catholic mission and standards.

Coordinate classroom coverage to ensure that all instructional time is appropriately staffed, including organizing substitutes as necessary.

Oversee the management and allocation of Title funds, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and supporting educational programs to enhance student learning.

Qualifications:

A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.

A valid Indiana Administrative Licensure or eligibility to apply for licensure.

At least 3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Catholic school.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and students.

Knowledge of the latest educational practices, state and diocesan standards, and technology integration.

Commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.

A deep commitment to partnering with parents to ensure the academic, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each child.

Proficiency in Spanish or experience working with English Language Learners is preferred but not required.
