Job Description

Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Community

St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition serving approximately 750 boys in Northwest Ohio, is in search of a full-time Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Community. Under the guidance of the Principal, the Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Community is responsible for creating, coordinating, promoting and supporting high quality non-OHSAA athletic and other student activities for the students at St. John's Jesuit. The Coordinator of Campus Engagement and Community creates, implements, and facilitates opportunities for co-curricular learning and student leadership development. This pivotal role works with school leadership to create and maintain existing engaging programs with a goal of increasing student retention and engagement. In addition, this position oversees the coordination of foreign exchange programs and any international mission trips or student travel programs.

Successful candidates will have above average creativity in addition to advanced planning and organization skills. Qualified candidates will have advanced knowledge of activities that are engaging to the students of St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy. Candidates must have demonstrated strong computer skills, communication skills and experience with youth. Ability to successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks and Diocese of Toledo Protecting Youth Requirements is required. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must act in a way to aid in the formation of Men for Others through the Graduate-at-Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.
