Instill knowledge, strengthen character, and nurture the Spirit through key teaching positions at Lumen Christi Catholic High School in Anchorage, Alaska.

Accredited by Cognia, Lumen Christi has been serving students in grades 7-12 for nearly 30 years. Our teachers help our students achieve success by setting high standards, maintaining orderly classrooms, emphasizing personal responsibility for learning and providing individual instruction as needed. As a result, our students learn to think critically, compassionately and ethically and develop lifelong work and study habits.

We are currently seeking highly qualified applicants to fill full-time teacher vacancies in junior high and high school ELA, social studies, math, and science for the 2024-2025 school year.

Expectations include teaching five separate classes with one preparation period. The classes will include a combination of both Junior High (7-8th grade) and High School (9-12th grade) courses. Candidates who are practicing Catholics and who possess a state teaching certificate or ability to apply for one are preferred. Candidates will take on the full role of instruction, grading, and preparation for each class, and will be expected to attend faculty meetings, professional development periods, and in-service days.
