Duties and Responsibilities
As our new principal, you will:
Be a Witness to Faith: Inspire through your life as a practicing Catholic and nurture a deeply rooted Catholic culture in our school.
Provide Strategic Leadership: Drive curriculum development, instructional excellence, and innovative learning strategies to enhance academic rigor.
Foster Growth: Hire, develop, and supervise faculty and staff, empowering them to succeed in their roles.
Enhance Student Life: Cultivate a joyful and disciplined student experience that supports holistic growth.
Be a Servant Leader: Be the hands of Christ by leading with humility and courage.
Build Relationships: Strengthen school-family partnerships through clear, transparent, and mission-centered communication.
Cultivate an Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a school culture that meets the needs of all students, including those with learning disabilities and diverse learning styles, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Qualifications
Knowledge
Active Catholic able to participate in the sacramental life of the Church.
Master's degree from an accredited program and a minimum of 18+ credit hours in Education Administration or a related field and a state-issued administrator/principal license.
Three years of teaching experience required.
A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a school setting required.
Working knowledge of office and student management software.
A valid driver's license for the State of Wisconsin.
In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and innovative teaching methods to drive academic excellence.
Knowledge of the mission and vision of Catholic education, particularly within a school environment.
Skills
Professional disposition and the ability to work collaboratively, both as a team leader and as a team member.
Dynamic leadership skills with excellent communication, knowledge of curriculum and instruction, and experience leading faculty to continuously improve student learning.
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Skilled in developing and fostering faculty and staff growth through mentorship, training, and clear performance expectations.
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
Expertise in nurturing school-family partnerships, ensuring mission-centered communication with all stakeholders.
Abilities
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
Ability to make decisions, attend to details, and troubleshoot effectively in a variety of school-related situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters related to staff, students, and families.
Ability to inspire and motivate faculty and staff to align with the school's mission and goals.
Ability to cultivate a positive school culture, promoting both academic and spiritual growth for students.
Ability to establish and maintain an atmosphere of discipline that supports learning and personal development.
Ability to model the Catholic faith through actions, creating a strong faith-centered school.
