Job Description
Human Resources:Ave Maria Human Resources, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, seeks applications for the part-time, 20-24 hour-per-week HR Coordinator position.
This position reports to the Director of HR and is responsible for preparing and submitting biweekly payroll data for multiple employer groups, maintaining electronic files, and preparing internal and external reports.
The ideal candidate must have Human Resources experience, along with knowledge of payroll processing, and be a problem-solver with excellent oral and verbal communication skills. In addition, be able to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate must interact well with people and demonstrate a positive attitude; be flexible and willing to take on new projects and skills. Experience in Word and Excel, with an emphasis in HRIS programs, is invaluable; aptitude for math is required.
A Bachelor's degree in a business or related field and/or experience commensurate with the position (preferably in a Human Resource environment) is required. The candidate must be willing to approach the role and tasks with a commitment to the mission and values of The Ave Maria Foundation and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
