Job Description

Gianna's House is looking for someone who is passionate and has a heart for speaking healing, love and support into people's lives and equipping others to do the same.

The Client Services Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Gianna's House, Inc. They provide life-affirming help and support our clients through pregnancy-options education, mentoring, parenting classes, material support and a listening ear. The Client Services Director also oversees the training and recruitment of our volunteers.

Ministry Purpose: This position plays a significant role in achieving the center's religious mission and thus, has a ministry purpose. Every staff member and volunteer shall serve this purpose in their job and, in doing so, be in an active ministry position with the center.

Client Services Director Duties:

• Using the LOVE Approach, peer mentor clients. Consistent follow up with all callers and clients.
• Ensure all clients, leads and families in need are tracked and followed up with on a timely basis.
• Manage the calendar of appointments for both peer counseling and referrals for medical ultrasounds.
• Assign EWYL "Earn while you learn" program participants a volunteer mentor, oversee the relationships, course work and participation of all parties.
• Recruit, manage, and train volunteers.
• Manage the items in the baby boutique and off site storage location.
• Ensure required paperwork is accurate, complete and filed properly. Ensure electronic record keeping follow all policies and procedures.
• Manage distribution of the monthly newsletter.
• Upholds the center's policies and procedures, especially the religious principles in the
Statement of faith and the code of Christian conduct.
• Supports the religious mission of the center and regularly encourages the spiritual growth of staff, volunteers, clients, and supporters.
• Reinforces the humanity and value of the unborn child with patients, their guests, staff, and others.
• Shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with clients/patients and prays with them, as appropriate.
• Provides spiritual guidance to staff, volunteers, and clients/patients
• Leads staff (or participates) in shared prayer, mass and devotions regularly.
• Mentor's clients in biblical parenting
• Leads client bible studies

Qualifications:
• Bilingual Spanish-English
• Practicing Catholic or Christian in good standing with a relationship with Jesus. A serious commitment to the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
• Agrees with and abides by the center's statement of faith, mission statement, and code of Christian conduct
• Expresses a sincere desire to reach and help at-risk clients considering abortion
• Has a sincere, mature faith and can competently share the gospel
• Regularly attends a Christian church
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, spiritual, and administrative skills, takes initiative, and is flexible
• Previous pro-life work, Certified Life Affirming Specialist (LAS) or walking with moms training preferred
o Commitment to maintain up-to-date training commensurate with the position and professional requirements
• Leadership:
o Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of respect and accountability
o Strong problem-solving skills to make sound decisions under pressure
o Excellent organization and time management to prioritize and meet deadlines
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, families, and/or caregivers, donors, and community members including local churches and parishes
• Woman-Centered Approach:
o Empathy, patience, and non-judgmental attitude for diverse abilities, current situation and backgrounds
o Commitment to providing accurate information at all times.
• Advocacy and Collaboration:
o Facilitate knowledge sharing and access to local resources and services essential for children and family success as well as the ability to build partnerships and collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders
o Strong advocacy skills to promote inclusion and opportunities for children and families
