Job Title: School Event Planner
Position Summary:

The Event Planner is responsible for organizing and managing school events while ensuring hospitality, budget adherence, and safety. Events include; locker day, back to school night, school retreat, conferences, fall and spring open houses, fall and spring plays, speaker events, fine arts night, senior dinner, graduation, and various fundraising events to include our annual Gala.

The planner will ensure a welcoming environment for attendees by overseeing guest lists, invitations, and on-site hospitality. There are approximately 2-3 evening events per month. In addition, detailed event budgets, projections and identification of cost-savings are needed. The position is the primary leader for all events and the liaison for outside vendors. In addition to event duties, occasional office assistance may be required to assure the appearance of the school, and service of the office.

This is an entry-level position with training and room for advancement. We are seeking a resourceful, entrepreneurial type mindset to continually improve our operations.

This role reports to the Office Manager but will require consistent collaboration with the Headmaster and the Marketing and Development Director to ensure the high quality service is given to the greater school community.

Required Qualifications:
Written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough computer skills/or willingness to learn: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, JupiterED, TADS, Excel, and Constant Contact. Must be a Catholic in good standing.
