Job Description
The Director of Admission serves as a member of the Cathedral Prep team and participates in implementing the overall strategic direction for annual and long-term recruitment. The Director of Admissions is primarily responsible for recruiting students for Cathedral Prep, building a recruitment network with grammar schools, and sustaining the organization of applications. The Director works collaboratively with the Administration and staff to show the school's visibility so that applications and transfers to Cathedral Prep will increase.RESPONSIBILITIES
-Oversee the recruitment of students from generating inquiries through the matriculation process in collaboration with the Administration team.
-Promote Cathedral Prep programs with potential students and parents especially visiting schools, hosting open houses, attending various high school fairs, etc
-Generate inquiries and maintain personal contact with potential students. Follow-up with students using current contact management methods.
-Guide prospective students through the process of application and acceptance, working collaboratively with the office staff in collecting and organizing necessary material.
-Build a strong and consistent recruitment network and represent Cathedral Prep at appropriate venues and other settings that build the school's network and offer opportunities to generate inquiries.
-Host prospective students for tours and "Buddy Days"
-Work in close contact with the Administration to meet specific numeric goals for inquiries and applications.
-Assist the Administration in the development and implementation of a strategy for the use of the website and social media in identifying prospective students.
