Job Description

The Production Assistant acts as general support for the Director of Production.
He or she is the first point of contact for internal departments and his or her
primary responsibility is to support and maintain smooth processes and keep data
up to date. This is a hybrid position, and the Production Assistant would be
expected to come into the office Mon, Tues, and Thurs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining production metadata
Liaising with printers
Tracking inventory for reprints
Sourcing and developing interior art
Facilitating covers for books
Spearheading non-book products
Tracking corrections that need to be made for reprints, and updating PDFs,
etc. as corrections are made

Skills:
The ability to work independently and to show initiative in the role is a must.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
An eagle eye to spot errors on proofs
Basic Photoshop and InDesign experience
Comfortable working in Excel/google spreadsheets
